这支八人苏格兰乐队，内向却不孤立，美丽却不懦弱，清新自流，抒情讨好，却隔绝滞腻平庸。编曲不落俗套的赋予多方面巧妙的配置，融合了吉他、小喇叭、木琴、长笛、口琴、风琴、打击乐器等，管弦倾吐出让人晕眩的轻快乐音。精神上延续了早夭的苏格兰民谣传奇Nick Drake最纤细的一面，及80年初的The Smith苍白虚弱的年少纯情，不少甜美的部份不禁会让人想起最温柔时候的Velvet Underground。女声Monica Queen和男主音Stuart Murdoch和配合也是一个亮点。B&S总是拿美好的旋律和温柔的嗓音涂抹着变色的幻梦和忧郁，魔力般盘旋，久难消散。
